Load shift? No problem. The Top Load Gear Bag actually buckles into the saddle using the top load straps. These packs are set up to work with the Black Thunder Saddle as a system.
We mainly use these bags for quick access items like fishing poles, tackle and rain gear. My tent, stakes and poles all go in one Top Load Gear Bag so when I get to camp it is the first thing off the llamas and gets taken right to the tent location. This really increases organization in the backcountry. When at camp they make a nice duffel bag for organizing your personnel gear in the tent.
